As part of its strategic focus to promote innovative and high-impact research, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Management Office (ITTMO) has launched a series of lectures and workshops to support scientists and students in their innovative research and develop new ideas at all MNG-HA affiliated facilities including KSAU-HS & KAIMRC.
In April 2017, Eng. ANAS ALHUNAIHIN, Research Projects Manager for Innovation and Technology Transfer Management Office at KAIMRC, was invited at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, King Saud University (KSU) to conduct a workshop titled “What Scientists & Students in the Medical Technology Field Need to Know About Intellectual Property and Commercialization; The Essentials”.
“It was an honor to be invited to speak at KSU, at the Biomedical Technology Club event. Fairly, I became a huge fan of the high level of talent that I felt from students and enjoyed the discussions with them.” Eng. Anas commented after the event.
Discussions revolved around many topics including patent registration, communications with their Technology Transfer Office and some licensing issues.
